Recently Relisted

I've always loved this card but have never really been able to show it off because of it's inherent dislike for being photographed. The piece of cardstock I used has a shimmery finish over muted grey-silver tones, plus there's rhinestones. So... yeah. Never really got very good pictures of it. My new camera has made a bit of a difference. Let me know what you think!

SimplySusan's Featured Faves, pt 2

One of my favoritest of favorite Etsy sellers is Kristin Friesen of sweeter than me designs . Kristin is a talented jewelry designer who creates earrings, necklaces, rings, and more in fun, funky, classy, elegant, flirty, modern, retro, and everything-in-between kinds of styles. Her items tend to be nature themed, assembled with the most exquisite little bird charms or dragonflies or flowers. There's always something in her shop that I am drooling over. Here's the pieces I've attained for myself so far... ;)

Part 1 of SimplySusan's Featured Faves!

The first installment of SimplySusan's Featured faves, as I call it, is here and I have decided to highlight the seller I recently received a purchase from Glasgow, Scotland-based designer Breagha.

That's pronounced "bree-uh" which is Gaelic for beautiful, and as it says on her Etsy page, "Breagha's mission is to provide high quality items using, wherever possible, the wonderful resources of Scotland. Fabrics such as Harris Tweeds and fine Shetland Wool are given the respect they deserve with unique designs and attention to detail."

The bag below, "A Friend in Tweed," is what originally caught my eye and is one of her most popular sellers. I'd love to own one someday!

And this wristlet, called "Ooh Ra Ra Lilac" is what I purchased recently from her. I filled it up the day I got it and have been carrying it since. I love it!

After quite a hiatus, SimplySusan is back! Keep your eyes open for new items in the shop, new features on talented Etsy artists, and my own personal fave items!

A part of the reason for the shop's "hiatus," as I like to call it, is that I've been focusing a lot of my time on knitting since I first learned a little over a year ago. I'm considering selling knitted items at SimplySusan as well as cards. Let me know what you think! (A few of my projects can be seen below.) Now that Mother's Day has passed, it's time to start thinking Father's Day, which is Sunday, June 15. I have in shop several new Father's Day cards with more to come, and some fun new all-occasion note cards as well!
